Canadian title insurance question: I bought an older house, and the basement floods every spring.? - canadian title insurance

The reason is that there is a large parking lot next to me that the snow is sometimes crash on the front of our house, and the slope is happening in my house. This was in the procurement documents were at home or during the test. When I complained to the owner of a large car park, who said: "Oh, yes, it's a problem, it was a great flood once everyone knows ... better than your well-established." Beau.

Can a claim under the insurance contract, because I believe this information is deliberately withheld? Each may have experienced, but I moved out of town.

In answering, please bear in mind this is a matter of Canadian law.

  1. Consult a local lawyer. It should not cost a query.

    There are many questions raised about the issue so that even if a person who really knows that Canadian law does not give the ability to undertake a full answer. Personally, I do not think well enough to determine the law in Canada to determine if Canadian law can not be that the questions, or if the provincial legislation is also important.

    Some points: insurance coverage of securities under the Act or by virtue of their policy? If not, you have an action against fraud, misrepresentation or willful misconduct has been issued against the seller? Or for negligence or nuisance to the operator of the parking lot? Or against the inspector, who inspected the house before buying? Are there any other insurance for the damage - or sell, or the operator of parking lots? Is there a statute of limitations issue because it happens every year in the spring?

    You also need to assess the damage, including its foundation.

    each processed differently at this issue ..

    Second, you can always ask the Provincal
    goverrnment Peoples' Rights, a hole and start fishing for trout
    in your basement

    Just think of the money that you could do.
    probably pay for the house in just a few years.?

    Ly 3, if there is a lot of damage, I would like to make a complaint
    Insurance, on the other hand, if the parking in the vicinity of dumping snow
    enough for your home, when floods, if the merger, see id at
    sueing Snow Removal Contractor, or parking lot.one owner of them is responsible for this mess.

  4. Not in the title insurance, title insurance simply means that the title of the property is clean - so no one can claim to ownership or part ownership of the property. Failure to consult a lawyer, as you might have a claim against the owner of the garage - when plowing snow on his side of the site, runoff from melting snow that the impact of home / foundation / basement.

    So we got wrong. . . And he knows that it is harmful, but still. Sounds like a case open and close for me. You must pay for the repair, and do not sit there more snow.
